main tasks

You will be responsible for the supervision of the DigiHealth and Smart Tourism Lab at the European Campus Rottal-Inn Pfarrkirchen. This includes setting up, maintaining and servicing the laboratory equipment and facilities, procuring and installing new equipment and managing the equipment and facilities.
 
As a laboratory engineer, you will also support the responsible professors in teaching. You will prepare the defined hardware and software for teaching and explain the basics of hardware and software use and the necessary precautions to students. In addition, you will help to organise lectures and workshops and provide support in the development of new exercises and teaching methods as well as in carrying out practical exercises with students. 
 
Your tasks will also include supporting data collection, analysis and processing as well as research. In addition, you will support the further development of the laboratory and marketing activities. You will analyse new market offers and plan the acquisition of equipment. You will also help with the presentation of laboratory work to internal and external guests and support the creation of content for the laboratory. 

your profile

You have a university degree in technology, digital health, IT, management, tourism or healthcare.
 
Ideally, you have practical experience in using research software such as nVivo, SPSS, iMotions. Knowledge of common hospital information systems / electronic patient records, digital health devices and applications is an advantage.
 
Confident handling of common end devices (PC, tablet, smartphone) and operating systems (MS Windows, Android, Mac) as well as proficiency in German and English (B2 or higher) are required. In addition, you already have experience with XR technologies and AI applications and are characterised by strong time and project management, diligence and problem-solving skills.

An independent and structured way of working, the ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and organisational talent as well as enjoyment of working with students round off your profile.

In principle, this position can also be filled as a part-time position. It is remunerated according to the collective bargaining agreement TV-L (E13).
