Lecturer: Nina Becherer, certified business educator, speech coach (DGSS/Univ.)
In this one-day seminar, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on and optimise their presentation skills in order to be even better prepared for future academic lectures. The seminar will cover the sequence and structure of a presentation or lecture and teach the principles of a convincing presentation and rhetorical techniques in an academic context. Participants will work practically with a prepared scientific presentation and learn how to use appropriate visualisation techniques. Methods for perceiving body language, impact and charisma, as well as for reducing stage fright, will be taught. Another component of the course is voice training, which focuses on the voice and manner of speaking as means of persuasion.
