The Silicon Valley Spinout Program is a nine-month accelerator program for corporate spinouts, offered at the Kemnath campus as part of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology’s Centre for Entrepreneurship.

Who is this programme suitable for?
The programme is aimed at established companies with the following objectives:
- Development of new business areas
- Tapping into new markets
- Launch of new products
- Closing gaps in business operations
Program content & services
Over the course of the nine months, you will follow a structured process with clearly defined milestones:
Your team will be supported by experienced mentors. Through regular one-to-one meetings, you will refine your strategy and prepare your investor pitch.
In monthly sessions, you’ll work on:
- Market strategies
- Competitive analyses
- Business Model Optimisation
- Financial planning
You’ll gain access to an international network comprising:
- Investors
- Companies
- Research institutions
Through direct interaction with international investors and a stay in Silicon Valley, you’ll learn from one of the world’s most successful start-up ecosystems.

Participation and applications
- Entry fee: 40,000 EUR
- We also offer optional support over longer periods to provide one-to-one guidance for the spin-off:
- 24,000 for 12 months
- 32,000 for 24 months
- 48,000 for 48 months
- We also offer optional support over longer periods to provide one-to-one guidance for the spin-off:
- No transfer of company shares
- Application: Initial face-to-face meeting to assess suitability for participation
