As research associate (m|f|x) you will work in the research project "WärmeKunst" funded by the Bavarian Research Foundation. The project focuses on the development of new polymeric materials for the production of heat-exchangers for heat-pump applications.

main tasks

As research associate (m|f|x) you will be in charge of the coordination of all project activities of Deggendorf Institute of Technology in this research project. You design experiments, prepare innovative samples, conduct experiments, and take over the project documentation.
Besides, you take contribution to scientific publications.

your profile

You completed a university degree (university diploma or master’s degree) in industrial engineering, physics, materials science, or similar.
You already have knowledge and professional experience in managing research projects as well as practical experience in technical laboratories and with polymer analytical equipment. Ideally, you also have experience in the areas of extrusion and compounding.
You have good skills in English and basic skills in German. You are willing to attend German classes if needed.

In principle, this position can also be filled as a part-time position. It is remunerated according to the collective bargaining agreement TV-L (E13).
